What a load of rubbish...

Well, that was my first reaction as I zipped up the screen at full speed and then ran out of fuel....
Once I got the hang of it I was hooked! Very clever little dynamic rewarding patience- Slow and steady IS the only way.

Well done!

I'm glad you gave it a second chance! Thanks for playing. :)

Trippy as hell, maaaan!

Wow, that is lovely. Absolutely essential to add the full screen option, well done.

I'd prefer not to have to have to shoot anything personally, just flying down the trippy tunnel is enough for me!

Nice.

Nice idea, needs work

OK, so first of all, well done for making something original.
Took me a few goes to really get it, then I realised it was cleverer than I gave it credit.
I like the graphics, black and white is nice. Sometimes less is more and this whole game can be described as minimalist.
I just think that a little bit more work would have made the most of the idea.
Obviously, the re-setting of the score is a known bug. So fix it.
The biggest annoyance for me (apart from the deliberate ones!) was the lack of feedback when you did hit the edge.
Having your score re-set to zero alone is not enough. You don't have to go nuts, just flash the screen white or invert the colours or something. It would add a lot.
If there's bugs that can re-set the score then you definitely need to know it was your fault.
Great concept though, just worthy of being a more polished game.

I'm not sure why you're complaining about my anti-cheats, as they're there for a reason. As for the second complaint... Yeah, thanks! When I was testing this I would suddenly realize my score had dropped and it was because I had hit the walls without realizing it.

I'm not sure if the score simply resetting when you click is what you're calling a resetting bug, but I haven't noticed any real bugs that I hadn't intended on.

What is all the fuss about?

OK, I appreciate that developers need to put it ads to make money, but the length of time for the extra long ad and the animated logos is more time than I was planning to spend playing the game.
And then when I played it I was very disappointed..
It's just another Tower Bloxx rip-off.
I just don't get why this game is doing so well, it's completely unoriginal and tedious.
Or maybe the gluttony of the King is a satirical swipe at the greed of the large companies producing games like this, and the long ad and mochi coins re-enforce the observation?

Rubbish!

Totally stupid. You just keep going and then when you buy everything the combo goes nuts and the game is complete.
Graphics aren't very good either.
And why is the businessman hitting turtles with a giant hammer? It makes no sense.
Honestly, terrible game. Don't waste your time playing it.

Seriously though, well done jmb02- totally hilarious.

Technically brilliant, but too hard

I really wanted to give this game a ten. But then I really wanted to finish it without using the walkthrough too.

Have to say though, it's a great walkthrough- with this game a description of what to do would have been pointless.

But the game is too hard, that's why it loses a point.

But, enough criticism, let me tell you why it got the other nine points....

The first thing that hits you is how atmospheric the game is. It's really quite an achievement to have that kind of moodiness with pixel art. The music helps- it's perfect. It just sits there in the background building suspense. A slight variation between levels would have been nice, but nonetheless it works and doesn't irritate.

The biggest and most obvious USP of the game is the lighting. At first it just creates a great atmosphere but then you realise the creatures kill in the dark and it's a key part of survival you really come to appreciate how well it works.
Genius.

I like a story in a game and so really enjoyed Rune Hunts exposition. When my dad died I actually felt sad. Pretty impressive especially so early in the game.

Please make a sequel. But make it easier. Herding the butterflies around was clever but then got annoying. Maybe if the player could light torches so that each tricky bit only has to be negotiated once, or give him a hammer and nails so he can nail the butterflies to the wall!

Well done.

Good idea about giving the player the ability to make a place secure by lighting up torches! Like this alot.

Great game with nice atmosphere

I liked the fact that it's not too hard, 'cos I usually suck at these games.
Looks lovely and the music is very nice.

Well done.

Laughing my arse off!

Brilliant sequel. Miami Shark was good, but this is just so much more relentless, and you can bite the heads off horses!
Keep up the good work.

Stunning game

Well done Johan- as well as looking lovely, it's fun and relaxing to play.
Music and art in perfect harmony plus gameplay. Nice one.

Gorgeous

Well done, this game is original and well designed. Couldn't stop playing until I'd finished.
